ATTENDANCE & MISSED LESSONS

Ultrasonico is not responsible for missed lessons.  Students have a regular timeslot that cannot be filled on a short term basis.  Therefore, payments are not based on attendance, but rather the timeslot that is reserved for you.  There are no refunds or credits for student absences.  Giving notification that a lesson will be missed is a courtesy to the teacher but does not excuse payment.  If you cannot attend your lesson, you are welcome to send someone in your place.  Just email us and let us know who will be coming in your place should you choose this option.

FEES

There are three payment options. 

  1. Tuition fees paid in full at the beginning of each session by cheque or cash.
  2. Tuition fees paid at the beginning of each session by postdated cheques written for the 1st date of each month.
  3. Tuition fees paid by cash on the first lesson of each month.

Lessons are 30 minutes in length.  There are three sessions in a year:
Session 1:     September to December
Session 2:     January to June
Session 3:     July and August

INSTRUMENTS AVAILABLE

We have instruments available for you to use when you come for your lesson.  This is for your convenience and will save you the trouble of having to transport your instrument back and forth.


TERMINATING LESSONS

Students may be dismissed for any of the following reasons:

  • Repeated failure to attend / prepare for lessons
  • Behaviour or attitude problems
  • Nonpayment of tuition fees or chronic lateness in payment.
  • Failure to adhere to any of our studio’s policies

A notice of one month is required for students discontinuing lessons for any reason.

PRACTICING

To maximize their learning and get the most out of the lessons, students should practice 6 times a week, at least 30 minutes a day.  It is strongly suggested that students practice for a short time right after each lesson as studies prove students are able to retain 50% more of what they learned that day.
